During 1923 and 1924 Theo van Doesburg, Nelly van Doesburg, Kurt Schwitters and Huszar organised a Dada Tournée through the cities Haarlem, Drachten, Bilthoven, Den Haag, Amsterdam, Rotterdam. In the soirées and matinées Van Doesburg read his "Dadasofistic introduction" called "Wat is Dada?". Schwitters barked like a dog, bleated like a sheep, and recited his sound poems and other prose and poetry. Nelly van Doesburg captured the hearts of the audience by playing Eric Satie on the piano.
